BTS member Jimin (real name Park Jimin) recently apologized for the controversy surrounding his health insurance premiums.

According to the music industry on the 3rd, Jimin expressed his feelings after finishing the US White House event through the fan community platform 'Weverse' the day before and said, "I'm sorry for worrying you because of my inexperience."

He said, "Thankfully and honorably, the presence of ARMYs (BTS fans) of diverse races, countries, and cultures allowed me to represent you at this event and raise your voice."

He continued, "However, I thought that I, who came here on behalf of all of you, was not yet too immature," he said.

Jimin added, "You must have been worried because I didn't visit often these days, but I will visit you often. I always miss you."

Although Jimin did not mention specifics in this article, it is believed that he apologized late in April for the controversy surrounding his high-priced apartment for not paying health insurance premiums.

It is known that Jimin had forfeited an apartment in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul last January because he did not pay about 28 million won in health insurance premiums until the beginning of this year. After the seizure, the registration of foreclosure was canceled as the arrears were paid in full.

At the time, when this fact became known, Big Hit Music's management company explained, "There was an omission due to an error in the process of receiving the mail that arrived at the dormitory first and delivering it to the artist."

According to the agency, Jimin has been unaware of the overdue due to overseas schedules and long vacations since the end of last year..
